The International Conference on UV and Skin Cancer Prevention brings together researchers, public-health professionals, clinicians, policymakers and practitioners working to reduce the global burden of skin cancer.
Since the inaugural conference in Copenhagen in 2011, the series has travelled to Berlin, Melbourne, Toronto, Mechelen (online) and Brisbane, advancing international collaboration and translating evidence into effective prevention.
The seventh conference will explore how we can balance the risks and benefits associated with ultraviolet radiation in a changing world. Topics will include climate and environmental change, outdoor activity and health, vitamin D, occupational exposure, sun-protection behaviour, emerging technologies, health equity and effective policy.
